Cyber Backup works with RED SOFT products

Cyberprotect, a Russian developer of solutions for data backup, protection and recovery, and RED SOFT, a domestic software company, have conducted a series of tests on software product compatibility. The test results showed that CyberBackup 15U2.6 system works successfully in RED OS and RED Virtualization environment as well as with Red Database DBMS. The solution is designed to implement comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery.

The companies are continuously working to integrate the products and their new versions in order to create a wider range of capabilities for domestic users. Cyber Backup is a world-class solution for backup and recovery of IT systems of any complexity.

Cyber Backup protects data, applications and infrastructure, is scalable without limits and saves money, allowing to get back up and running in a few minutes. Cyber Backup is listed in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases (№4160 and №4161). It has a FSTEC-certified version (#4337 dated December 11, 2020).

RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the use of application software. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (No. 4060 dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases (No. 3751).

Red Database DBMS is a modern Russian open-source DBMS. The product is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases under No. 1. Red Database DBMS is certified by the Russian Federal Service for Technical and Export Control. It is used in state information systems up to, inclusive, the first class of protection, and in personal data information systems up to, inclusive, the first level of personal data protection. RED Virtualization is a solution for managing server and workstation virtualization. It is based on the powerful KVM (kernel-based virtual machine) hypervisor and an open virtual infrastructure management platform. RED Virtualization implements its own VDI client to connect to virtual machines.

RED Virtualization is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (No. 6929).
