RED SOFT has authorized a training centre in Kursk city

An authorized training center of RED SOFT, a Russian developer and provider of IT solutions and services, has started its work in Kursk on the basis of South-West State University.

Federal State Hiher Education Institution "South-West State University" (Kursk city) certified 3 lecturers of the Department of Software Engineering of the Faculty of Fundamental and Application Informatics to obtain the status of an authorized training centre of the RED SOFT company. The educational program of the bachelor's degree in the field of "Software Engineering" now includes classes on "Using the operating system RED OS". In the future the integration of this topic to all educational programs of the faculty is considered.

RED OS is the RED SOFT flagship product; the Russian general-purpose operating system of the Linux family for servers and workstations. It is FSTEC of Russia certificate holder (cert. №4060 dated 12.01.2019) that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems and personal data information systems up to class 1 inclusive. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (№3751).

"For us, the course on import substitution is a topical issue, as the demand for specialists who have the skills of operation and administration of domestic software products, primarily operating systems, from government and municipal employers is especially high now", - the Director of Information Technology and the new recruitment of Southwestern University Alexei Pykhtin, said.

"The attention of state educational institutions to domestic solutions has increased, so we are expanding the geography of RED SOFT training centers. This will make training in Russian software more accessible. We are sure that South-Western State University will handle the task of training specialists to work on RED OS", - Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, comments.
