RED SOFT and "NTC Alfa-Project" have confirmed product compatibility

To enhance technological cooperation, R&D Center "Alfa-Project" ("NTC Alfa-Project") and "RED SOFT" tested their products. As a result, the compatibility and correctness of operation of the "MS_KEY K" - "ANGARA" cryptographic protection product line (manufactured by NTC Alfa-Project) with the RED OS operating system (manufactured by RED SOFT) was confirmed.

RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, that provides a universal environment for application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No.3751).

CIP tool "MS_KEY K" - "ANGARA" is a product line of cryptographic data protection tools. This product line is compatible with current Russian cryptographic standards: GOST R 34.12-2015, GOST R 34.13-2015, GOST R 34.10-2012, GOST R 34.11-2012. It supports both operation with built-in cryptography using a non-removable key as well as secure key storage of external systems' keys (CryptoPro CSP).

"Due to the fact that government employees are increasingly becoming users of domestic software, including RED OS, under the import substitution framework, their information protection is a priority for us. Compatibility of "MS_KEY K" - "ANGARA" cryptographic protection tools with our operating system ensures our customers with safety and confidentiality of their data", - Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, commented.

"We are pleased to cooperate with RED SOFT. "NTC Alfa-Project and RED SOFT share a common goal - to create products that meets the requirements of IT-security regulators for the Russian consumer. Therefore, the joint use of MS_KEY K - ANGARA hardware cryptographic information security tools with RED OS is the right step towards creating a secure infrastructure", Nikolay Kashin, product manager of NTC Alfa-Project LLC, a member of MultiSoft Group, commented.
