RED OS compatibility with "INITI SOLO" monitoring system is confirmed

Russian IT companies INITI and RED SOFT have confirmed compatibility of the RED OS operating system with the "INITI SOLO" monitoring system for IT infrastructure and ICT services.

"INITI SOLO" is a Russian comprehensive monitoring system. It monitors telecommunication networks (IP/MPLS, SDH, WDM, wireless networks, telephony, etc.), IT infrastructure and data center components (servers, storage systems, virtualization systems, SAN, application and system software), components and elements of APCS and life support systems. The software enables a service-oriented approach to monitoring based on the extensive functionality of the service-resource model. The solution is capable of working in high-load distributed environments. The product is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases (No. 7006).

RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the use of application software. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (No. 4060 dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases (No. 3751).

Andrei Uchamprin, Director of Business Development at INITI:

"The system was deployed on the provided distribution, we have put both the OS itself and a number of external objects for monitoring. Everything runs smoothly, no deviations in the work at the level of our application software, as well as at the level of the operating system have not been revealed. We recommend our customers and partners to use RED OS for productive, high-loaded installations of "INITI SOLO" software.

Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO:

"The entry of the INITI SOLO monitoring system into the RED OS ecosystem is an important and timely step. After all, taking into account the ban on foreign software many industrial facilities of the CII will need specialized domestic products to continue their operations. And our joint solution with "INITI" can help customers promptly reorient themselves.
