"GIS TOR KND" runs on the RED OS

R&D Institute Voskhod ("NII Voskhod") and domestic developer RED SOFT have successfully migrated the government information system ("GIS") "Standard Cloud Solution for Control (Supervisory) Activities" ("TOR KND") to RED OS.

GIS TOR KND is a platform for automation of control and supervisory activity processes, which is being created according to the Federal Project "Digital Public Administration", which is part of the national program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".

Due to the TOR KND, planning and conducting inspections will become more open and convenient for both inspectors and legal entities: all necessary documents will be generated electronically, and the system will automatically analyze inspection results and promptly identify symptoms of violations, based on big data. In addition, due to the transition to a microservice architecture, the platform can be scaled and distributed to all three levels of government, where the corresponding types of control are carried out. Another feature of the TOR KND is integration with the federal government information system "Unified Register of Inspections" (FGIS ERP).

TOR KND is being developed by NII Voskhod within the framework of the government contract with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.

RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, that provides a universal environment for application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No.3751).

"The transition of the government information systems to domestic software is one of the most important and complex tasks of import substitution in the field of IT. Within the framework of implementation of the Russian Federation Government Decree № 658, developers of GIS with the participation of Russian manufacturers of operating systems need to choose a reliable sanction-resistant environment to work in. In addition to being included into the Russian Software Register and having a certificate of FSTEC of Russia, the operating system should have wide functionality due to its compatibility with other products, as well as understandable and familiar interface. The RED OS fully meets the criteria stated above. The example of GIS TOR KND migration to RED OS demonstrates high quality fulfillment of the task of migration to domestic software according to the legislative requirements. We would like to thank specialists of NII Voskhod for their professionalism and fruitful work", Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, said.
