"CryptoPro CSP is protecting the data of RED OS users

CryptoPro and RED SOFT have confirmed compatibility of CryptoPro CSP version 5.0 R2 and RED OS, including the Baikal-M processor solution. General compatibility work is aimed at creating domestic comprehensive competitive solutions within the framework of the import substitution program.

The new CryptoPro CSP 5.0 R2 supports Russian cryptographic encryption algorithms of 2015 (GOST R 34.12-2015, GOST R 34.13-2015) and modern versions of TLS and CMS protocols. Among other things, the list of calls, the use of which in the development of systems based on ACS does not require additional topical examinations, includes the functions of setting client TLS connections (with one-way and two-way authentication).

Russian operating system of Linux family for servers and workstations RED OS is certified by FSTEC of Russia (#4060 dated 12.01.2019) according to type "A" protection profile of the fourth protection class IT.OS.A4.PZ and is intended for use in government information systems and at CII facilities. It is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (№3751).

"RED OS and CryptoPro CSP compatibility is of fundamental nature. CryptoPro CSP provides data transmission protection in the majority of government agencies and state corporations of the country. The example of our companies' cooperation allows us to talk about software import substitution without any risk for information security. We thank CryptoPro for the long-term and productive cooperation for the benefit of the technological development of the country", - Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO, commented.

"Active development of RED OS and CryptoPro CSP with ensured interoperability allows to create application information systems that can solve the most important state tasks with the provision of a consistently high level of information security. And there is no doubt that this practice will continue by our joint efforts", Pavel Lutsik, Director of Business Development and Partner Relationship at CryptoPro, added.
